health service in our country
Hello everyone, I hope you are well, and you had a good weekend.
Today I
will talk about the health service in our country, from the point of view of
personal experiences.
First of
all, I have not suffered from any serious medical problem that requires a
continuous medical check-up, but personally I have had to see how close family
members have had difficulties receiving care and following up on their
chronological illnesses. In the case of my family, everyone is treated through
the public health system (FONASA), and in my experience I can say that it is
not a poor quality service, you can find good doctors and treatments, but I can
assure you that it is a deficient service in its implementation, due to the
fact that it does not take into account the large numbers of people who are
served, so it is always saturated, and that makes it difficult to get good
service.
I remember,
for example, that a couple of years ago, an aunt was diagnosed with stage 1 node
cancer, fortunately it was detected in time and could be treated, also thanks
to the help of her sister who works in the public health system, it was
possible facilitate treatment management and the search for doctors to attend
to her.
After this
close experience with such a fatal disease, I realized that, although good
results can be obtained from public treatments, the main problem lies in the
management of help and administration, this being what makes it difficult to
obtain good care.
I also feel
that I learned that in the public health system, everything is based on looking
for opportunities, since there is nothing that guarantees the time in which one
will be treated or the doctors who will treat him.
That is all
I can say about the health system in our country, I hope you are well and in
good health again, without further ado I say goodbye until next time.
I also believe that the public health system is not so bad, only that in reality the problem is that it is always or almost always saturated.Especially now that after the pandemic the problem got worse.
ResponderBorrarIm glad that your aunt was able to be treated, and indeed I agree with you that the main problem is the administration, as the treatments themselves are not bad.
